This is where it all began.... back in the mists of time, musicians got together in alehouses, kitchens, living rooms, mud huts or whatever for the sheer joy of making music together. Thus Folk Music was born. This of course still happens.
There are 5 prime session spots at BunkFest - The Cross Keys, the Coach & Horses, the Late Night Festival Club, the Morris Musicians' Final Fling and the Singing Train.

Home to continuous impromptu sessions and merrymaking. Limited disabled access.
All are welcome to bring their instruments and voices, come and join in or just sit back and enjoy the music!

Friday evening
Bill's Third Tuesday - the regular folk riot hosted here every month by Bill McKinnon pays a special visit to the BunkFest.
Saturday evening
Bluegrass - The regular second Tuesday session returns to the BunkFest for the third year running. Hosted by Harvey Rodda.
Sunday evening
Anything goes with Pat Cogswell - a session just like the first Tuesday in the month where anything can happen, from blues to jazz and from folk to rock.

Blues with Stretchmarks - come along for a rare chance to join in with popular bluesmen Stu Weetman, Jeremy Kahn & Tom Weetman.
Saturday evening
Big Sing with Tony & Pearl O'Neill - raise the roof with some of the best voices in the South of England.
Sunday evening
Bill's First Thursday - this must be a very short month, once more displaced in time, hosted by the irrepressible and ubiquitous Bill McKinnon.
