Step Clog Dance with Ridgeway Step Clog
Intricate and rhythmical traditional step dances from the north of England with Ridgeway
Step Clog. All adults welcome, from beginners to experienced dancers. Please wear
clogs or hard-soled shoes, and come along and have a go!

Rapper Dance with Dorset Buttons Rapper
Dorset Buttons will be running a rapper workshop aimed to give people a taste of what
it's like to dance this tradition that originated in the mining villages of Northumberland.
This is great fun to dance and watch and you will be amazed and thrilled when figures
go right (we are!). No experience is necessary and swords will be provided but it is
recommended that you wear hard soled shoes (not trainers). It's not for the really young
but suitable for people aged 11 onwards. If you want more information talk to one of the
side during the weekend.

Arabic Dance with The Isisters
Come along and let "The Isisters", an Arabic dance troupe, teach you a sizzling summer
mix of funky Arabic dance moves. All of which are performed to live, raw, Arabic
drumming. Any budding drummers amongst you may join in the percussion too! Bring
your drum if you have one! See you there!

Dance Around the World with Wallingford Circle Dance Group
Enjoy easy-to-learn dances, both ancient and modern, to spine-tingling music from
different cultures (from Greek folk tunes to Native American Indian chants, from the
Dubliners to a Senegal choir). No partner or experience needed.
Then on Sunday at 13.00 on the North Kinecroft Stage the Wallingford Circle Dance
Group invite you to join them for a variety of fun, easy world dances. The motto of Circle
Dance is "there are no mistakes, only variations!". Everyone welcome, come and join us!

Cwm Juggling - Circus Skills
Saturday and Sunday (various times)
Netti Walker has been teaching juggling and circus skills for 15 years since being taught by her son, then aged 11. She has developed a step by step approach which guarantees success. Workshop participants will gain an understanding of the principal of juggling 3 balls. Netti also teaches diabolo, unicycle, stilts, devil stick, poi and spinning plates.
Juggling itself, apart from being an enjoyable form of exercise, aids concentration, has proven effective in the treatment of dyslexia, helps develop hand-eye coordination and self-esteem and above all is great fun!
