The Acoustic Ballroom

The Acoustic Ballroom happens on the first Friday of every month. We are proud to be part of the BunkFest 2006 and present The Acoustic Ballroom BunkFest Special on Friday 1st September!
The Acoustic Ballroom was started last November in Wallingford in an attempt to bring together musicians, singers, bands, storytellers and poets. It has taken the town by storm - every month performers and music lovers pack out The Ballroom for a fabulous acoustic feast.
Come and perform - there is no need to contact The Acoustic Ballroom before the night. Just turn up and, depending on numbers, you will get a slot of about 10 or 15 minutes to perform. We welcome any style of music. Or come and join our packed audience. There is no bar at The Ballroom, so bring a bottle and enjoy the fine music!
Free admission for Performers and BunkFest Season / Day ticket holders.
Audience £3.00 in advance or on the door.
Doors at 8pm,
Music from 8.30 pm,
Close at 11pm
Bring your own drinks (from the BunkFest Beer Festival of course, only a few steps away!)

Back by popular demand - a folk club in the long tradition of folk clubs - a chance for all to perform in public to an appreciative audience.

This year's Saturday night Come-all-Ye folk club is hosted by Readifolk.
Readifolk, Reading’s Folk Song and Music Club, meets every Sunday night at 8 p.m. at The Clifton Arms in Caversham.
Readifolk features Singers Nights, Theme Nights and Guest Nights. Forthcoming artistes include Tom Lewis, Ed Rennie, Johnny Silvo and Jez Lowe.
You will be sure of a warm welcome and a great night at the BunkFest Folk Club and at Readifolk.
