On the Kinecroft

Lots of fun for youngsters of all ages! Join in the games organized by Woodcraft Folk, at BunkFest for the first time this year. Explore The Wild Waste Show bus, with exciting workshops showing how you can be Green – everyone should do their bit to save the planet.

You will love Mr Alexander and his Travelling Show – showing off circus skills throughout the day, with longer shows at the following times: Friday 16.30, Saturday 11.00, 12.30, 14.00, 15.30  

  Farms2ewe
Farms2ewe are delighted to be bringing their ever popular Goat Mountain and Animal Encounters to the BunkFest again this year. This is your chance to get up close and hands on with their friendly pygmy goats, sheep and lambs. They will also have their miniature Shetland Ponies Winnie and Sugarpuff, who are cheeky and child size. Face painting here too! And please say hello to the Donkeys from our local Island Farm Donkey Sanctuary.

  We welcome back Jan and her wonderful Blackboard Van!
– always popular. Draw on it, play in it or outside it be creative, have fun, design your own festival! And do join in the magical dragon parade with her around the Kinecroft on Saturday and Sunday approx 17.00 each day! Have you ever tried hair wraps? Ask her friend Paul next door!
 

  Don’t forget Craftscene with Make & Take in their Rainbow Marquee. Get your face painted there too. Try the Bouncy Castle, the small Fairground Rides or even Temporary Body tattoos by Inky Icons (small charge for these events).  

 
Don't miss the fun bread making sessions with Pizza Tabun - make your own traditional bread and eat it!
 

Come and join in with the Family Ceilidhs on the Kinecroft Stage at 16.00 on Saturday and 17.10 on Sunday. Our friendly dance callers will talk you through all the moves great fun for all!

If you are already musical and about to move up to secondary school, why not join in with the Shooting Roots sessions in Centre 70. They may be aimed at teenagers, but the tutors do not bite and it should be a great time.

Back by popular demand, a special Vocal Workshop for 7 - 12 year olds with Lyn Thomson from Music Matters - an hour of fun high energy vocal music making (in Centre 70 on Saturday at 15.30).

Kindly note: all children under 8 must be accompanied by parent or guardian!
