Luasca
| Luasca is Colman Connolly and Harriet Earis. Colman won the All Britain championships on the flute at the age of 12 and is one of the principal teachers at the London Piping Club. He also plays low whistles. He won the Uilleann Piper of the Year competition in 2002, and in July 2003 was given the title of All Britain Champion on the pipes. Harriet has toured Europe and the USA as a soloist and was the All Britain Champion on the harp in 2000 and 2002. She reached Grade 8 with Distinction on classical harp but now specialises in the Celtic harp which is not nearly as big to tune up. Her look of pain in this photo occurs regularly every time a string needs tuning yet again! Her solo CD 'Jumping Ahead' (which also features Colman) was launched in 2003.
