| Back by popular demand following their devastating return to the stage at BunkFest 2005 (and having played many great gigs and festivals since), Pressgang are back and ready to play! Damian, George, Tony and Cliff, the line-up that toured together throughout much of the 1990s as well recording the albums 'Fire!' and 'Mappa Mundi', re-formed Pressgang to play the festivals and other places which can take their full show. A folk act like no other, Pressgang took traditional songs and tunes into places that no other band dared to go. White noise from an accordion, whirling dervish instrumentals and rapping are just a taster of the full ingredients. Add to this storytelling, drama and audience participation and you'll have an idea of the stage show that got them all over Europe and the USA without a major record label or management. It has to be seen to be believed. And now you can at one of their rare UK dates. Pressgang plan to really show the world just what is possible when you play traditional folk music.
