Colin Green

Colin is one of the UK 's leading commercial musicians; forty-five years of experience in the forefront of the UK music scene as a guitarist.
He can currently be heard playing the bouzouki on the Boots travel television advertisements and guitar on Debbie Wiseman's music for ' Jekyll ' which started in March 2007; his original compositions for films and television are currently heard in over 24 counties.

Musical Director for Dame Shirley Bassey for 8 years from June 1995. In that capacity he conducted orchestras in the USA , Australia , NewZealand , Singapore , the Phillipines, Hong Kong , Norway , Belgium and the UK . Producer of two albums for Ms Bassey's one of which was nominated for a Grammy award!
His musical career began with Billy Fury and he has worked as Musical Director for Eddie Calvert, Charles Aznavour, Georgie Fame and Alan Price .
He has arranged and conducted film music for " Entertaining Mr Sloane " and " The Garnett Saga " with Georgie Fame and " O Lucky Man " with Alan Price, a film in which he also appeared.
Top rated guitarist since 1959, he has recorded on albums and singles by such diverse artists as Elton John, Diana Ross, Paul Simon, Tom Jones, Kiri te Kawana, Gene Vincent, Jose Carreras, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Bjork !
He has played on film scores for many composers including:- Quincy Jones, Henry Mancini, Paul McCartney, Andre Previn, Jerry Goldsmith, Elmer Bernstein, George Fenton, John Barry, Howard Shore, John Williams, and James Horner.
Now concentrating on teaching his ‘Reactive Guitar Method' in his own tuition studio in Didcot.

The BunkFest set will be some new original material for three guitars as well as solo pieces from Colin, his son Morgan and one of Colin's talented students, Simon Bowden.
