The Mad Hatters

Local Ceilidh band, The Mad Hatters, play for barn dances, weddings, and parties on a variety of instruments: accordion, melodeon, fiddle, guitar, ‘cello, mandola, mandolin, recorder, spoons and bones! Our tunes are taken from the traditional music of England (especially the Thomas Hardy family manuscripts), Ireland, Scotland, and America and we play a range of styles from gentle waltzes to rousing reels! All of the band (except Linda) also dance with the Icknield Way Morris Men so sometimes you get two for the price of one!
