All Coachmakers Arms gigs cancelled

All Portcullis Club events have been moved to
The George Hotel
The Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and evening, and Sunday afternoon concerts have been moved to the Sir John Hedges Suite at The George Hotel.
The non-stop tunes sessions have been moved to The Tavern Bar at The George Hotel.
The Late Night Festival Clubs are no longer taking place.
The events planned for The George Hotel Courtyard are unaffected.
Apologies for this last minute change due to circumstances beyond our control. We will try to make changes throughout the website later today.
Something to look forward to - BunkFest weather!!!
A brand new message from our
Resident Professor of Meteorology:
" Well, the weekend looks set fair with warm, dry conditions thanks to a ridge of high pressure sitting firmly over southern England. Despite a somewhat cloudy start we should see the sun breaking through lifting temperatures to a pleasant 23 to 24 Celcius, the mid seventies Fahrenheit, by day Friday through Sunday. Evenings look set to be mild too, great weather to enjoy fine ale and great music on Wallingford's Kinecroft. There is an outside chance of some thundery activity late on Sunday evening but bar that possibility the weekend looks dry and warm with sunny spells. "
We can't wait !!!

Stewards and helpers needed - get in touch now!
Although we have had a good response to our appeal for stewards and helpers, we still need more people to lend a hand setting up, running the show and for clearing up, and for next year! It's great fun and not too much like hard work. Please get in touch via the Come and Join Us! page.
Steam on the Bunk Line!
There's a hole in the Kinecroft!

As part of the Wallingford Burh to Borough Research Project, which is a joint initiative between the Universities of Exeter, Oxford and Leicester, the Kinecroft currently has a large hole (archeological excavation) in it! This will be filled in before BunkFest. For further information including daily updated site reports have a look at the project website. If you are interested in local history, try our Festival Walk on Sunday 31st. |
