This is where it all began.... back in the mists of time, musicians got together in alehouses, kitchens, living rooms, mud huts or whatever for the sheer joy of making music together. Thus Folk Music was born. This of course still happens.
There are 5 prime session spots at BunkFest - The Cross Keys, The Coach & Horses, the Wallingford Sports Park Bar, the Singing Train. and the Portcullis Club Bar.

Bill's Third Tuesday - the regular folk riot hosted here every month by Bill McKinnon pays a special visit to the BunkFest.
Saturday evening
Bluegrass - The regular second Tuesday session returns to the BunkFest. Hosted by Lucy Quinn.
Sunday evening
Anything goes - pretty much like the regular 4th Sunday afternoon session. Hosted by Kindablu.

All are welcome to bring their instruments, come and join in or just sit back and enjoy the music! 01.00 finish Friday and Saturday - however turns into a come-all-ye at 23.00.
