The Acoustic Ballroom has been going for nearly 4 years. From humble beginnings it has become one of the most popular open mic nights around. Every month, audiences and musicians pack out the Portcullis Club in Wallingford for a fabulous feast of acoustic music. No sound checks, no encores and no auditions make for a lively and eclectic mix of live music. No music is booked before the night - please arrive at 8pm if you want to perform. All styles are welcome as long as it can be performed on acoustic instruments. There are vocal and instrument microphones on stage, but no electric instruments please. £3 on the door or free if you are performing.
