What a fantastic first 2 days!!!
Probably more people attending than ever before (they certainly drank more beer!), just the best atmosphere and the greatest music and dance, the town at its very best in the lovely Street Fair, not to mention the fire shows, Mr Alexander and the horse and carriage adding to the surreal magic of the whole thing... phew! Now it's time to do day 3... hope you can join us!!!
The Prof was right!!!
Although it was a litle cooler and less sunny than we'd hoped for, the weather has been kind for the first 2 days of BunkFest and it looks like today will be OK too, so come on down!!!
Update on the weather from our
Resident Professor of Meteorology!!!
Friday: Sunshine with showers. Rather breezy especially during the showers but reasonably warm with the temperature peaking at around 19C.
Saturday: A warm dry day is in prospect with some good sunny spells. Winds lighter than Friday and although it'll still be breezy it'll be a pleasant warm day temperatures around 20C.
Sunday: The settled spell looks like it'll last through the weekend, so another dry day in prospect with sunny spells and temperatures around 20C again.
Latest update "
To be honest the forecast is pretty much as before really and if anything a little better! Breezy on Friday with a chance of some showers but the rest of the weekend looks dry with some sunshine, especially on Sunday when temperatures are likely to reach 21C."
Updated Thursday 3rd September, watch this space!!!
Most of our 200 or so events are free admission
but please be prepared to give generously!!!

Stewards and helpers needed - get in touch now!
Although we have had a good response to our appeal for stewards and helpers, we still need more people to lend a hand setting up, running the show and for clearing up, and for next year! It's great fun and not too much like hard work. Please get in touch via the Come and Join Us! page.
