Founded in 1998, ODT play vibrant and pulsating rhythms inspired by exotic West Africa sounds and South African improvisational drumming. Oxford Drum Troupe play various African instruments, most commmonly the drum called the "djembe". ODT teach and perform regularly at local events such as the Cowley Road Carnival, Bunkfest and Wittfest.
