They may have had a bad press lately, but foxes aren't all bad; specially the musical type. Gipsy Fox have been wowing the customers at this summer's festivals with a haunting sound of vocals, flute, acoustic guitar and percussion. Back from the blues, Alan Weikert is now returning to the folk scene with his multi- instrumentalist wife Manu. They have a new CD being released to coincide with the Wallingford BunkFest, featuring all original tracks. Both Alan and Manu have been playing various instruments since an early age, including guitar, drums, piano, recorder, trumpet and flute. Alan has been a professional drummer and was featured on Radio Oxford showcasing his songwriting. Summer's not over yet, so they are looking forward to playing at this year's BunkFest.
