Jo Long and the Pure Drop produce and perform contemporary acoustic music...

Jo has been singing and performing in and around Southampton solo, with the Arnie Cottrell band and with the Velvet Doonicans. Don has played with 'trad' bend Broderick and as performed in the USA, europe and UK festivals. The Pure Drop has been completed by Jezz Kelway, who brings his virtuoso quitar rooted in blues and country to the band.

As Jo Long and the Pure Drop, they have been gigging, appearing at festivals across the south of England and recorded 'in session' for BBC South Live. The first studio album 'Drive' was released in 2008 and this was followed up in 2009 with 'Acoustic and Live' which captures the band playing live and in session for the BBC.

A new album is in the pipeline for late 2011 and the band are in the process of making their first video. These are exciting times for Jo Long and the Pure Drop!
