The Sceptics met whilst under the tutelage of an Opera trained Columbian running classes at The Mill Arts Centre in Banbury, Oxfordshire. However, their love of all genres of music led them to branch out on their own and explore new things.
While the next year was spent developing and honing their distinctive harmony style, they performed to small but appreciative crowds and, buoyed on by this success, they spent 2010 making a name for themselves on the local folk music circuit. Performing at several festivals, their summer culminated in two highly-acclaimed performances at the Banbury Folk Festival.
Equally at home performing Pop, Rock, Gospel or Doo-Wop, The Sceptics also regularly play at private functions and charity concerts.
